Lai Siew Hong was graduated from State University of New York in Associate Degree in Applied Science Interior Design. For over 20 years, Lai has provided a wide variety of clients with elegant design solutions for the interior space planning and corporate identity.

Prior the joining to Blu Water Studio Sdn Bhd, he was the Design Director for Axis Identity Group and Managing Director of Axis Network Design Consultants Sdn Bhd, a leading Interior Design company in Malaysia. Under his tenure many projects have received numerous awards locally and internationally.

Although Blu Water Studio was established only just two years ago, spearheaded by Lai Siew Hong team had been repeatedly awarded by Malaysian Institute of Interior Designers as well as Interior Design Association of Hong Kong - a member of the International Federation of Interior Architects and Designers.
His renowned works include Hilton Hotels in Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya, Kuching and Mina Al Arab at UEA, The Westin Kuala Lumpur (Mention, APIDA 2004), Somerset Seri Bukit Ceylon, Hotel Equatorial in Ho Chi Minh City, Penang, Melaka and Kuala Lumpur, Naga World Hotels and Casino in Phnom Penh, The Burj Business Square in UAE, Meritus Pelangi Beach Resort and Spa, Langkawi (Sliver Award, MIDA 2012), Jin & Ina (Chinese and Japanese Restaurant) in Hong Kong, Spice Market Restaurant (Winner, MIDA 2012, Mention APIDA 2012), Tatsu Japanese Cuisine, InterContinental Kuala Lumpur (Mention, MIDA 2011) and residential projects like 6 Western Avenue, Penang (Winner, MIDA 2011), 5 Stones, Ampang (Mention, MIDA 2010) or Aman Sari, Puchong (Winner, MIDA 2005) as well as many more.
