Robert Whitlock is a principal with Kohn Pedersen Fox and has over twenty-five years of professional experience with the firm. Over the course of the past two decades, his focus has been on international work, and he has developed an expertise in Asia.
Presently, Mr. Whitlock is working on the mixed-use Marina Bay Financial Centre in Singapore, housing office, retail, and residential space, as well as a community park. Among other projects in Asia are the Hennessy Center Redevelopment for Hysan, a pre-certified LEED Platinum building in Hong Kong; Suzhou Super Tower, a 450-meter building for Wharf Holdings; and Chongqing Super Tower, a high-rise tower for Shui On Land.
Mr. Whitlock recently completed the tallest building in Puxi, Shanghai, Wheelock Square, whose 57-stories rise in a simple, sculptural form from a richly landscaped plaza. He has also overseen the completion of the award-winning SGX Center in Singapore, which is home to SIMEX, the International Monetary Exchange of Singapore that has three awards, including a Gold Medal from the Singapore Institute of Architects Micro Design Awards for its podium feature wall.
